Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro students made their mark at the most coveted engineering exam with over 65 students cracking the IITJEE (Advanced)-2017. The figure is expected to increase as the information were still being gathered.
Aditya Mishra stole the show by becoming the district topper securing the All India Rank of 182 while Dipesh Kumar secured 654 AIR. Deepesh Kumar Lall secured AIR 795 and AIR 101 in OBC category. Taiyab Aashir secured AIR 864. Thus, four students of DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand have made it to the top ‘1000 AIR’.
The other performers include Nischay Raj (AIR – 1701), Tanya Sneh (AIR – 1721) and Siddharth Lal (AIR- 1799). Aditya Mishra was also the State Topper in JEECE 2017.
Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal DPS Bokaro expressed immense happiness on this achievement of the DPS students and congratulated them. In her message she said, “These results reflect the glory that merits national pride. I congratulate the teachers, students and their parents for the success and bless the students for their bright future.”
The students of DPS Bokaro had set high standard in the Class XII 2017 Board results as well with 166 students securing more than 90% marks with Shivangi Singh as the state topper securing 98 % marks in the Science stream and Samvridhi Shreshtha as the city topper securing 94.80% in the Commerce Stream. In the Class X Board Examination 2017, the students of DPS Bokaro had shown an incredible performance where 137 students getting 10 CGPA.
