Muzaffarpur : Over 50 girl students of SC/ST Residential School, Saraiya, in Muzaffarpur district, fell ill due to food poisoning on August 6, 2018, morning. They were admitted to different private hospitals. A medical team also reached the school on August 6 morning.

The Block Development Officer (BDO), Saraiya, said that 10 students were suffering from diarrhoea and were under treatment. Civil Surgeon, Muzaffarpur, has asked for a report in this connection. Meanwhile, unhygienic condition prevails on Primary Health Centre (PHC), Saraiya, campus. Muzaffarpur DM has issued necessary directions to Civil Surgeon, Muzaffarpur, in his connction.
