Six criminals arrested in Patna, 4 pistols seized

Patna : Police on August 6, 2018, arrested two persons for firing at a cloth shop-owner and demanding ‘Rangdari’ ( extortion amount) from him in Danapur in Patna district a few weeks back. Both the criminals were arrested with the help of CCTV camera footage, according to SSP, Patna, Manu Maharaaj.

In another incident, four criminals including Santosh alias Bakaria were arrested with four pistols and several live rounds when they were on way to kill someone. Patna SSP said that Santosh alias Bakaria was angry as a criminal Machiya had molested one of his relatives and was on way to eliminate him.

The arrested criminals have been identified as Santosh alias Bakaria, Rakesh Kumar, Raju Kumar and Anand alias Bhuar. He said that police recovered four pistols, six live cartridges, two bikes and four cellphones from their possession.
