Ara : One person was killed and another person injured when a speeding Bolero dashed their motorcycle near Tirthkol village under Sandesh police station (PS) in Bhojpur District on July 19, 2021, late evening.
The deceased was identified as Vijay Singh, 40, son of Sahajanand Singh of Badiha village while the injured was identified as RJD leader and husband of Mukhia, Jamuaw panchayat, Manoj Yadav, 40 son of Lal Mohar Yadav, of the same village.
SHO, Sandesh PS, said that Vijay Singh and Manoj Yadav had gone to Sandesh Bazaar in the afternoon on July 19, 2021, on a motorcycle. When they were returning home in the late evening the same day, a speeding Bolero dashed their motorcycle from behind near Tirthkol village and injured them and the driver escaped with the vehicle. The injured were admitted to Sandesh Referral Hospital where the doctor sent them to Ara Sadar Hospital. The doctors at the Ara Sadar Hospital referred Vijay Singh to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) but he succumbed to his injures on way to PMCH.
