Motihari : Town police, Motihari, have arrested arrested one Raj Kumar Mishra, ,a motorcycle mechanic in connection with vandalisation of statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Charkha Park located on Mahatma Gandhi road in the town.
Vijay Rai, SHO, Town police station, Motihari, headquarters of East Champaran District in North Bihar, said that the statue of Mahatma Gandhi was vandalised on February 13, 2022, night, and a case was lodged in this regard. The arrested Raj Kumar Mishra, 35,a resident of Belbanawa locality of Motihari town, is a drunkard, gthe SHO said. According to police, Raj Kumar Mishra has confessed that he had vandalised the statue .
