Ara : Police, on a tip off, arrested three miscreants from near Lamari Tola village under Piro police station (PS) in Bhojpur Districtin South Bihar on February 14, 2022, evening, and recovered two countrymade pistols, three live cartridges, seven stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle from their possession.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Rishi Kumar, Mahesh Kesari, and Mantu Kesari Later, police sent them to jail after interrogation. Piro SDPO Rahul Singh said that he was receiving complaints regarding mobile phone snatching between Jitaura and Hanswadiha villages on Bihia-Bihata main road under Piro PS. A person had lodged an FIR regarding his mobile snatching and police had launched vehicle checking drive near Lamari Tola under Piro PS on February 14, 2022, evening,the SDPO said.
Meanwhile, police located three youth coming on a motorcycle. Police stopped them and when they were searched, police seized two countrymade pistols, three live cartridges, seven stolen mobile phone, and a motorcycle from their possession, SDPO Singh added. Police arrested them and sent them to jail after interrogation and lodging of a named FIR against them. The arrested miscreants confessed before police that they were involved in mobile snatching in the area.
