NITP students organise Contraption 1.0

Patna : American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) NIT Patna (NITP) Student Section conducted an event Contraption 1.0 on February 19. It was a team event in which teams had to design a system comprising various sub-systems each having its own function and triggering the other finally hitting a ball.

Elevan teams participated in the event making it a grand success. The complexity of the sub-systems and creativity in designing the steps together decided the winners. The event was judged by final year students of Mechanical Engineering branch of the institute. The event was organized at Students Activity Centre (SAC) building.

Team GARA emerged as the winner while Team Initiators was the runner-up and team Tangled Mechie was the second runner-up. The winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Chandra, Student Section Advisor of ASME NIT Patna.
