2,100 pouches of countrymade liquor seized from vehicle in Patna

Patna : Police, on a tip off,  seized 2,100 pouches of Jharkhand made Desi Masaledar liquor from a four-wheeler at village Jhijharbagh under Malsalami police station in Patna district on February 20, 2017, morning. SHO, Malsalami police station, Dharmendra Kumar, said that the liquor pouches were hidden beneath the potato. He said that driver of Tata S vehicle had been arrested. Replying to a query, the SHO said that the liquor consignment was to be delivered to a liquor dealer Sonu who escaped from the scene. Police are searching for Sonu. The liquor pouches were brought over from Jharkhand, SHO Dharmendra Kumar said.
