Nitish has 45 minute talk with Tejaswi

Patna : Bihar CM and national JD(U) president Nitish Kumar had a 45 minute talk here on July 18, 2017, evening, with his deputy Tejaswi Yadav, 28, who the JD(U) wants to resign after the CBI registered a case against him in connection with land for hotel scam on July 5, 2017. Tejaswi attended the Cabinet meeting on July 18 morning.

This was the first meeting between Nitish and Tejsawi since the CBI registered a case against the latter in connection with land for hotel scam on July 5 and also quizzed him on July 7, 2017, besides searching his house the same day.

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad has categorically said that Tejaswi will not resign. Tejaswi has also said that he will not resign. The JD(U), on the other hand, wants Tejaswi to give pointwise rebuttal to the charges levelled him by the CBI and come clean on the matter. The BJP has alleged that Tejaswi owns 17 properties.
