Nikhil Priyadarshi, father forwarded to judicial custody till Mar 31

Patna : Car showroom owner Nikhil Priyadarshi, who was arrested in Uttrakhand on February 14, 2017, for allegedly sexually exploiting daughter of a senior Congress leader and former minister, along with his father Krishna Bihari Prasad Sinha, 75, a retired IAS officer, were produced before a Patna court on March 17, which forwarded them to judicial custody to Beur Central Jail, Patna, till March 31.

Police have prayed to take the two on remand for interrogation but the court would decide on it on March 18. Earlier, Nikhil and his father were brought over to Patna from Uttrakhand on transit remand by a car which met with a minor accident near Garhani in Bhojpur district causing minor injury to the two accused. The car carrying the two accused had dashed a bus near Garhani.
