Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Noted academician of coal belt zone of Jharkhand having more than two decades of experience in teaching management and administration Ms Neelkamal Sinha after taking over as Principal, Delhi Public School Chas in Bokaro district, which has now also come up with its nursery school branch at Chas township, on January 3, 2019, threw light on how various Olympiads groom a child from primary stage to face various competitive examinations.
Ms Neelkamal Sinha, who is also the General Secretary of Dr Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex, elaborated,” Olympiad examinations at school level are competitive examination based on the school syllabus, conducted through different independent organisations, which promotes science, mathematics, general knowledge, computer education and English language skills among school children in India. The students of Bokaro schools, who have excelled at different Olympiads for the last two decades, have earned big names at global level getting exposure on international platform.”
“Most of the parents and students have wrong notion that Olympiads is a burden along with the routine studies but in reality, Olympiad exam provides a unique competitive platform wherein many a geniuses can be identified,” said Principal Neelkamal Sinha, who has prepared a blueprint of all round development of children studying at the school.
Appearance at Olympiads motivates students to strive for better and obviously a rank in the Olympiad motivates a child further. The pattern of questions at the Olympiad are conceptual and the students are supposed to use their analytical skills to solve them thereby making them understand the topic much better. This in turn helps in their general studies,” stated Neel Kamal who just before taking up the new assignment served as Principal at DAV Bokaro sector VI.
Exhorting the students to appear at Olympiads, Neelkamal Sinha, Principal, Delhi Public School Chas, remarked that such exams inculcate problem solving skills among the students thereby helping in overall development of a child from a young age.
