Patna : World No 255 Brandon Nakashima, 18, USA, beat 7th seed & World No 87 Yuichi Sugita, 31, Japan, to enter Round of 16 at ATP Oracle Challenger at Indian Wells, USA, on March 5, 2020. Nakashima beat Sugita in second round 6-3, 6-2 in 80 minutes. He will face 10th seed Salvatore Caruso, 27, Italy, the World No 100, in Round of 16. Nakashima had defeated World No 209 Liam Broady, 26, UK, in first round.
Grigoire Barrere, France, the 9th seed, beat World No 256 Mischa Zverev, 32, Germany, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 in 2nd round. Barrere will face 8th seed Frances Tiafoe, 22, USA, the World No 81, in Round of 16.
