Patna : Rafael Nadal, 32, Spain, and Roger Federer, 37, Switzerland, have retained their World No 1 ( 8,760 points) and World No 2 ( 6,900 points) positions respectively in the latest ATP rankings released on September 10, 2018, but Novak Djokovic, 31, Serbia, has jumped three places to be ranked World No 3 ( 6,445 points) after winning the US Open 2018 singles title on September 9 late night.

Juan Martin del Porto, 29, Argentina, has slipped one place to be ranked World No 4 ( 5,980) points while Alexander Zverev, 21, Germany, has also slipped one place to be ranked  world No 5 with 4,890 points.

Marin Cilic, 29, Croatia, has jumped one place to be ranked World No 6 ( 4,715 points) while Grigor Dimitrov, 27, Bulgaria, has also jumped one place to be ranked No 7 ( 3,755 points). Dominic Thiem, 25, Austria, who lost to Nadal in the US Open quarter-finals has also jumped one place to be ranked No 8 ( 3,665 points).

Kevin Anderson, 32, South Africa, has slipped 4 places to be ranked World No 9 (3,595 points) while John Isner,33, USA, has jumped one place to be ranked World No 10 with 3,470 points. David Goffin, Belgium, has slipped one place to be ranked No 11 while Kei Nishikori, 28, Japan, has jumped 7 places to be ranked World No 12 after reaching the semi-finals of US Open 2018.

Fabio Fognini, 31, Italay, has also jumped one place to be ranked World No 13. Diego Schwartzman, 26, Argentina, has slipped one place to be ranked No 14 while Stefanos Tsitsipas, 20, Greece, remain World No 15 with 1,962 points.

Milos Raonic, 27, Canada, has jumped 4 places to be ranked World No 20. But, Pablo Carreno Busta, 27, Spain, has slipped 9 places to be ranked World No 21. Roberto Bautista Agut, 30, Spain, has slipped 4 places to be ranked World No 26. Nick Kyrgios, 23, Australia, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 27. Fernando Verdasco, 34, Spain, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 29 with 1,375 points. Nikoloz Basilashvili, 26, Georgia, has jumped 6 places to be ranked World No 31.

John Millman, 29, Australia, who had defeated Federer in the US Open, has jumped  18 places to be ranked World No 37 with 1,233 points.Joao Sousa, Portugal, has jumped 19 places to be ranked World No 49 with 986 points. Sam Querrey, 30, USA, has slipped 26 places to be ranked World No 61 with 875 points.

Winner of 3 Grand Slam titles Stan Wawrinka, 33, Switzerland, has jumped 13 places to be ranked World No 88 with 650 points. Yuki Bhambri, 26, India, remain World No 96 with 592 points. But, Ramkumar Ramnathan, 23, India, has slipped one place to be ranked World No 135 with 420 points. Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 28, India, has slipped 2 places to be ranked World No 162 with 349 points. Sumit Nagal, 21, India, has jumped 11 places to be ranked World No 295 with 166 points. Reilly Opelka, 21, USA, has jumped 30 places to be ranked World No 143 with 397 points.
