Patna : Bharat Bandh supporters vandalised vehicles and blocked trains at Rajendra Nagar Terminal at Patna on September 10, 2018. A two-year old girl died in Jehanabad district as the vehicle carrying to Sadar Hospital, Jehanabad, was not allowed to move ahead by the bandh supporters. Her parents said that their child could have been saved if their vehicle was not stuck in the road blockade.
Private schools and a large number of business establishments remained closed fearing violence during the bandh.The call for Bharat Bandh was given by Congress led opposition parties to protest steep fuel prices.
