Muzaffarpur jail suptd demands enhanced security cover and shifting of 12 jailbirds

Muzaffarpur : Superintendent of Muzaffarpur Central Jail Satyendra Kumar, in a communication to DM Dharmendra Singh and SSP Vivek Kumar, has demanded enhanced security cover for the jail apprehending possibility of jail break by naxalites and notorious criminals lodged there.

The  jail superintendent has demanded deployment of BMP jawans and para-military for jail security and shifting of a dozen criminals to other jails. The DM and SSP have taken the jail superintendent’s letter seriously and have initiated measures for enhancing jail security.

Fortysix naxalites, over a dozen gangsters and mastermind of kidnappings are lodged in Muzaffarpur central jail. Several incidents of kidnapping for ransom and murder have taken place at the behest of these gangsters. The jail superintendent has also demanded removal of encroachments outside jail and installation of six watch towers and lights.
