Muzaffarpur DM inspects several ghats

Muzaffarpur : Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh on October 25, 2017, inspected several ghats at Muzaffarpur to see the arrangemets made by Muzaffarpur district administration and Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation (MMC) to facilitate Chhath devotees to offer `Arghya, to Sun God on October 26 evening and October 27 morning.

The district administration and MMC has made special arrangements at Akharaghat, Ashramghat, Tin Pokharia, Lakdidhahi, Sahu Pokhar, Padao Pokhar, Ramdayalu Pokhar, Nishadpath ghat, Shyamghat and Karbala Pokhar for Chhath festival. Divers on boats will be deployed at ghats having water. The NDRF teams will also be present. Bursting of crakers is not allowed at any ghat.
