Muzaffarpur : With Encephalitis playing havoc with the lives of the children for the last ten years in the district during summer particularly Litchi season, Muzaffarpur district administration has geared up to tackle Encephalitis cases, if any, this year.
Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh has directed the Civil Surgeon (CS) to make adequate arrangements for the treatment of Encephalitis patients at Muzaffarpur Sadar Hospital, Sri Krishna and Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, and Kejriwal hospital. Arrangement for fogging are being made in all the 16 blocks of the district and availability of doctors and ambulances has been ensured. An awareness drive will also be undertaken in all the blocks of the district.
