Murder accused thrashed at Saharsa, sent to jail

Saharsa : Mohd Amanullah alias Anju, a resident of Saharsa Bustee and a murder accused, was on June 5, 2017, caught and assaulted by the relatives of his sister-in-law ( Bhabhi) near Bengali Bazaar, Saharsa. But, a traffic constable, Pramod Kumar, rescued him and handed him over to Sadar police station, Saharsa. He was sent to jail by Mahila Police station SI Lalit Mandal the same day.

Sajda khatoon had lodged a case with Mahila Police station, Saharsa, on April 12, 2017, against his brother-in-law Mohd Amanullah alias Anju, mother- in-law  and father-in-law Mohd Mozim alleging they had beaten her up on April 10, 2017, resulting in her miscarriage. Police had arrested Mohd Mozim five days after the FIR was lodged. Her mother-in-law is still at large.
