Munger: Three executive engineers of Public health engineering department (PHED) , Road construction department and Rural Works department of Munger division will not get their salaries for July 2016. Divisional commissioner, Munger, Navin Chandra Jha, directed Munger DM Uday Kumar Singh to stop their salaries. The engineers were punished for skipping the meeting convened on Wednesday by the divisional commissioner to review the arrangements and facilities to be provided to the Kanwariyas passing through this district route from July 20 for offering obeisance to Lord Shiva at Deoghar in Jharkhand. They were also asked to show cause as to why they should not be placed under suspension for their negligence.
