Former JD(U) MLA arrested for violating Bihar Excise Act

Patna: : Lallan Ram, a former JD(U) MLA  from Kutumba (Aurangabad), was arrested on Wednesday evening on charges of violating Bihar Excise Act .He was caught drinking beer on a television channel last month.
Lallan’s arrest was ordered by the excise department here. Lallan was also heard criticising CM Nitish Kumar and making fun of his anti-liquor campaign.His action of drinking beer with his friends had gone  viral on social media too.
