Patna: JD ( U)  state organising secretary  and incharge of Aurangabad district, Lallan Ram was suspended from the party on Thursday by the  state unit of the party. According to a communication issued by state JD(U) Bashistha Narayan Singh, Ram has violated the prohibition policy of the party and  reportedly criticised the chief minister on his anti-liquor campaign. Ram has also been removed from all party posts. Ram , a former JD(U) MLA from Kutumba in Aurangabad district, was arrested by Aurangabad police on Wednesday following orders of the State Excise Commissioner Aditya Kumar Das. In a sting operation telecast on news channels, Ram was seen enjoying beer with his friends and criticising Nitish Kumar for his “over enthusiasm” on liquor ban.
