Mukund loses to Duckworth in final of ATP Baotou Challenger

Patna : World No 285 Sasi Kumar Mukund, 22, India, lost to top seed and World No 181 James Duckworth, 27, Australia, 6-4, 6-3 in the final of ATP Challenger at Baotou, China, on September 1, 2019. Mukund secured 48 points for reaching the final while the winner Duckworth got 80 points. Mukund had defeated World N0 269 Wu Tung-lin, 21, Taiwan, in the semi-finals on Auhust 31, 2019.

The pair of Mukund and Teymuraz Gavashvili, Russia, lost in the doubles final of the tournament to Nam Ji-sung & Min-Kyu Song of South Korea.
