Patna: Morari Bapu, the 67 year -old Ramcharit Manas preacher from Mahuva in Bhavnagar district of Gujarat, has become the star attraction for top Bihar politicians who are politically hostile to PM  Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, both from Gujarat. RJD president Lalu Prasad and the JD(U) president and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, who  are against the Gujarat leaders and Gujarat model of development, listened to the preachings of Morari Bapu at Gandhi Maidan here.
Lalu met the Bapu at Gandhi Maidan where last day of week-long preachngs were held on Sunday. Lalu reached early mroning and sought Morari Bapu’s blessings. Morari Bapu too reciprocrated by saying he too wanted to hear Lalu .On the opening day, Nitish had visited Bapu a Gandhi Maidan and heard his preachings as a devotee.  Later,he spent three hours at another session of  preachings by Bapu at Gandhi Maidan. Bapu was declared the state guest by the chief minister earlier. Nitish had inaugurated Bapu’s another Manas recital  at Rajgir a few weeks back.
Lalu had organised the recital of Sunderkand by 11 priests at his 10,Circular Road residence, recently and participated in the programme till wee hours next day. He was joined by his wife and former CM Rabri Devi and his two ministers sons:Tej Pratap and Tejeshwi.
On Sunday early morning, deputy chief minister and  younger son of Lalu, Tejeshwi visited the famous Mahabir Mandir near Patna Junction. According to eye witnesses, the deputy CM reached the temple at 5 am and participated in the early morning Arti of Lord Hanuman. He made “parikrama” of the temple premises and performed puja, an eyewitness said. Two months back, Lalu too had visited Hanuman temple on Tuesday morning as a common visitor.
