Gopalganj: Body of a missing youth Jitendra Yadav (25) was found hanging from a tree in a field near Bhopatpur Chawar on Thursday. Some proof of assault has been found from the spot where the body was found hanging. One of the hands of the deceased was found broken while there were marks of attack on his private parts also. The victim’s family members had not lodged any complaint with the Kuchaikot police station so far even as he was missing.
Police said that Jitendra, son of Khedan Choudhary, went missing after he left his house on September 20 after having his meal and did not return home in the night. The family members searched for him on Wednesday. His body was found hanging from a tree on Thursday.On getting information, Kuchaikot police station SHO Mahendra Kumar reached the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
