Ara : Bhojpur police, with the help of their Dhanbad counterparts in Jharkhand, recovered a missing married woman after a month and also arrested three named accused from a housing colony at Dhanbad and brought them over to Ara on June 24, 2017. Police produced the woman before the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC and forwarded the arrested accused to jail the same day. Police brought the woman over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination on June 25. Love affair was said to be the cause behind her disappearance.
SHO, Ayar police station, Awadh Kishore said that the woman of Dhundhuwa village under Ara Muffassil police station was married to Pintu Yadav of Utarwari Mathia village under Ayar police station on May 16, 2017. On May 25, 2017, she disappeared from her house. Her father lodged a named FIR against three persons: Saroj Yadav, his brother Gajendra Yadav and brother-in-law (bahanoi) Chandeshwar Rai with Ayar police station in this connection.
The SHO said that on the basis of mobile surveillance, police came to know the whereabouts of the woman. A police team went to Dhanbad and with the help of their counterparts there, succeeded in recovering the woman from a housing colony and arrested the three named accused.
The woman said at Ara Sadar Hospital that Saroj Yadav of village Dhundhua under Ara Muffassil police station along with two other persons came to his in-laws’ place at Utarwari Mathia village under Ayar police station on a three wheeler and said that her mother was seriously ill. He brought her to Ara where he gave food to her at a hotel. After taking meal, she fell unconscious and when she regained her sense, she found herself in a room at a housing colony at Dhanbad in Jharkhand which was said to be house of Saroj Yadav’s brother-in-law Chandeshwar Rai.
