Buxar : A minor girl Priya Kumari was crushed to death at the gate of Rajpur Block Office in Buxar district on February 15 by a speeding truck when she came on road while playing. Irate villagers blocked Kochas -Buxar main road near the block office paralysing movement of traffic for about three hours with the body of the girl. They also burnt tyres and raised slogans against the district administration. Police immediately swung into action and arrested the driver and seized the truck. Priya Kumari, 9, daughter of Chandan Kumar Sharma of Katariya village, lived near Rajpur Block Office. Chandan Kumar Sharma is a carpenter and works near the block office.
