Bagaha : Minister for Art, culture & youth affairs, Government of Bihar, Sheochandra Ram unveiled the statue of architect of Indian constitution Dr BR Ambedkar on the occasion of his 126th birth anniversary at Rampur forest check- post under Bagaha-2 block in West Champaran district on June 28, 2017.
The Minister recalled Ambedkar’s role in making a caste free society and asked people to follow his ideals. He also urged the Dalits to educate their children. Rajesh Ram, MLC, West Champaran, Vinay Verma, MLA from Narakaiganj, Jitendra Bharti, advocate, and others also addressed the function. Mohamad Irshad Hussain, former Mukhiya Belahawa-Madanpur panchayat, presided over the function.
