Patna : World No 6 and winner of Nitto ATP Final Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, tumbled out of the Australian Open (AO) 2020 losing his 3rd round match to World No 35 & 2016 Wimbledon Finalist Milos Raonic, 29, Canada, in straight sets at Mafrgaret Court Arena, Melbourne Park Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on January 23, 2020.

Milos Raonic, who had reached SFs of ZO in 2016, sent Tsitsipas packing in 3rd round beating him straight sets 7-5, 6-4, 7-6 winning 2 break points besides winning 5 games in a row in the match. Raonic, the 32nd seed,  hammered 19 Aces in nthe match to 9 by Tsitsipas. The Canadian won 76 service points to 70 by the Greek. Raonic’s winning percentage both on his first and second serve ( 88 % & 63 %) was much higher than that of Tsitsipas ( 73 % & 56 %). Raonic will face 2014 US Open Champion & World No 39 Marin Cilic, 31, Croatia, in 4th round on January b26, 2020.
