Millman enters final of Rakuten Japan Open

Patna : World No 80 John Millman, 30, Australia, entered the final of Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships, an ATP World Tour 500 points event, at Koto, Tokyo, Japan, beating World No 53 Reilly Opelka, 22, USA, in the semi-finals in straight sets on October 5, 2019. Millman defeated Opelka 6-3, 7-6 in 88 minutes in the semi-finals at Ariake Coliseum, Musashino Forest Sports Plaza, Koto.

Millman will face the winner of second SFs between top seed Novak Djokovic, 32, Srrbia, and 3rd David Goffin, 28, Belgium, in the final on October 6, 2019.
