Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, arrested a middleage man Bir Bahadur Singh from village Pilapur under Jagdishpur police station on August 25, 2017, for allegedly outraging modesty of a minor girl. Later, police forwarded him to jail.
SHO, Jagdishpur police station, Baijnath Chaudhary said that Bir Bahadur Singh of village Pilapur n entered the house of a 10 year old girl of his village on August 15, 2017, when her mother had gone to the field and raped her. When the girl raised an alarm, the accused escaped. An FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station on the statement of the girl.
