Saharsa : Unidentified criminals strangulated to death a medicine shopowner of Ward Number 26 of Bhartiya Nagar under Sadar Police station, Saharsa, Pankaj Sharma, 32, on December 1, 2017, night, and then showed it as a case of suicide by hanging the body from a tree.
The locals noticed the body on December 2 and informed police about it. Pankaj Sharma was missing since December 1 noon and his medicine shop also remained closed. His mobile phone was found switched off. His family members failed to locate him.
SDPO, Saharsa, Prabhakar Tiwary, and SHO, Sadar police station, R K Singh, reached the place of occurrence to investigate into the incident. Police sent the body to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, for post-mortem. Police have recorded the statements of Pankaj Sharma’s family members. The deceased ived by his widow and two sons.
