Samastipur : A medicine dealer Pankaj Kumar was shot at and critically injured near Patepur Chowk under Pusa police station in Samastipur district on January 9 night when he was returning home after closing his medicine shop. Criminals carrying arms fired at Pankaj when he resisted their loot bid. He was rushed to a private nursing home at Samastipur. He is a native of Patepur and son of Ram Balak Mahto. Police are conducting raids to arrest the suspects.
