Mason killed accident at Bhojpur village

Ara : One person was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Basic School, Amrai Nawada, under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district, around midnight on February 12, 2020.

Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Shakeel Ahmad, 35, of village Sandaur.

SHO, Bihia police station, said that Shakeel Ahmad was a mason and was returning home after completing his work at the site around midnight on February 12, 2020. When he reached near Basic School at Amrai Nawada village under Bihia police station, a speeding vehicle knocked him down killing him on the spot. The driver escaped with the vehicle from the scene.
