Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur District, on August 31, 2019, against three persons including Rahul Kumar in connection with disappearance of a married woman when her husband had gone to Deoghar in Jharkhand. Police are investigating into the matter and conducting raids to arrest the named accused and also recover the woman.

SHO, Nawada police station, quoting the FIR, said that Ravindra Thakur has a vending shop near Western railway crossing under Nawada police station and he lives in a rented house there along with his family members. He had gone to Deoghar in Jharkhand. When he returned on August 30, 2019, evening, he was shocked to find his wife Rekha Devi missing. He searched for her everywhere but someone living nearby threatened him with dire consequences.

Ravindra Thakur informed police that Rahul and his associates had allegedly confined his wife to a room in other house nearby. His brother-in-law (sala) got a mobile number from that house but the miscreants threatened him and his brother-in-law with dire consequences.
