Married woman escapes from parents’ house at Ara

Ara : A married woman escaped from her parents’ house under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur District, on the day of her second-marriage (gavana) on September 28, 2019. An FIR was lodged with Nawada police station on October 2, 2019, and  police are conducting raids to recover the girl. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident.

SHO, Nawada police station, Sanjay Kumar, said that the woman was married in West Bengal a year back. After her marriage, she returned and started living with her parents. Her parents fixed September 28, 2019, for hersecond marriage (gavana). They were preparing for the ceremony when she fled away from her house with jewellery and Rs 40,000 cash.
