Maoists kill two villagers in Jharkhand

Giridih :Branding them as a police informer, the activists CPI (Maoists) killed two villagers by slitting their throat in Chhachando forest areas under Pirtand police station in Giridih district in Jharkhand late Saturday evening. The Maoists also left several posters and termed entire activities as a punishment for the duo.

The deceased have been identified as Dilip Hasda and Dunka Murmu. Both are said to be the residents of village Mohanpur near Parasnath foothills. Pirtand Police station incharge Ruqshad Ahmad said that he had information regarding the murder of two villagers. “Although a team of police personnel has rushed to take stock of the situation but nothing can be ascertained unless they return from the site of incident,” Ahmad added.
