Maoists attack brick kiln in Vaishali, fired 10 rounds, set 2 tractors ablaze

Hajipur :  An armed squad  of CPI (Maoists) on  Saturday attacked on a brick kiln  near village Mahisaur under Jandaha police station in Vaishali district  and  set  two stranded tractors ablaze. They also opened 10 rounds of fire  and exploded  more than 5bombs at the kiln but no one was hurt in it. The Maoists handed over a letter, addressed to the owner of the kiln Bindeshwai Rai, to the labourers asking him to pay yearly levy to them failing which  he would be killed.

DSP, Mahua, Anant Kumar Rai,  said that  around 15 maoists  fired 10 rounds  in air and exploded bombs to scare the brick kiln owner  to pay levy to them  besides setting afire two tractors. The police has launched combing operation in this area  to nab the Maoists .
