Motihari : One Hira Yadav, 40, a resident of village Laxmipur under Raghunathpur police oupost in East Champaran district was shot dead in front of his house on September 14, 2019, evening, by two unidentified motorcycle borne criminals. Police sent the body to Motihari Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The assailants sped away towards Motihari, headquarters of East Champaran district, after committing the crime Raghunathpur is 4 km away from Motihari.
According to family sources of the deceased, two bike borne criminals reached the house of Hira Yadav and started firing on him and escaped. He fell down on the ground and was rushed to a private hospital at Motihari where the doctors declared him brought dead. Police are yet to ascertain reasons behind the murder.
