Ara : Santosh Kumar, 25, was shot at and injured in Dharahara locality under Town police station in Bhojpur district on September 4, 2018, and was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara. An FIR has been lodged with Town police station, Ara, but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
Santosh Kumar said that his friends came to his uncle’s mobile shop in Dharahara locality and took him with them to a field nearby where they thrashed him and also shot at and injured him. He waddled in the field filled with mud for about two hours. When his friends fled away, he came to shop and was admitted to the Sadar Hospital.
SHO Ara Town police station said that police were conducting raids and the miscreants would be arrested very soon.
