Man shoots himself dead at house in Kankerbagh, Patna

Patna : Saurabh Kumar, 28, committed suicide by shooting himself in head by a pistol at his house located on Road No 8B under Kankerbagh police station, Patna, on July 29, 2018. Saurabh was son of a retired Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Umeshwar Jha.

SHO, Kankerbagh police station, Ravibhushan Kumar, said that Saurabh shot himself dead in an  inebriated condition. He said that police were investigating as to from where he had procured the pistol. The body has been sent for autopsy, the SHO said.

Locals said that Saurabh was addicted and on July 29, he shot himself dead by a pistol at his house.
