Motihari : Special court for Protection of children from sexual offence (POCSO), Motihari, judge Daya Lal Prasad on Thursday sentenced to ten years’ rigorous imprisonment(RI) one Vikas Tiwari in a case of abduction and rape of a minor girl in East Champaran district. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on the convict.
According to prosecution, a minor girl was kidnapped by Vikas Tiwari in 2014 from her house when her parents
were outside.Her father lodged an FIR in this connection and after 12 days the police recovered the girl from Sugauli railway station in East Champaran district. She narrated the story how Vikash Tiwari kidnapped her and took her to Muzaffarpur and Delhi and raped her. The court examined sic witnesses in this case and held Vikas guilty.
