Buxar : Munna Rai, 32, son of Ramashish Rai, drowned in a pond at village Pidia under Dumraon police station in Buxar district on April 17, 2017, morning.
SHO, Dumraon police station, Rajesh Kumar, said that Munna Rai was an epilepsy patient. On April 17, he went to attend call of nature in the open and after that was washing his hand at the pond. In the meantime, he had a bout of epilepsy and he fell into the pond. When he did not return even after three hours, his family members searched for him. The villagers informed that Munna Rai was seen at the pond. On their information, the family members searched him in the pond and fished out his body. Police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
