Ara: A sexagenarian drowned to death in river Ganga on Tuesday while taking bath at Semaria ghat under Sinha police outpost. Divers fished out the body after much effort. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The SHO Sinha police outpost said that Nanaku Singh had gone to take bath in river Ganga at Semaria Ghat under Sinha police outpost on Tuesday morning but he lost balance and was swept away in the current. People at the Ghat tried to rescue him but failed.
