Man commits `suicide’

Patna: An employee of a Pollution Checking Centre Pintoo Kumar (26) was found hanging from the ceiling of his thatched house at Beur under Beur police , Pana, on December 19. Police said that Pintoo, a native of Naubatpur in rural Patna, was working with a Pollution Checking Centre at Beur and was living with his brother in-law Satyendra Yadav opposite to the centre.

Satyendra told the police that he had left the house at around 8.45 am after cooking the food as Pintoo was not feeling well for the past few days. Satyendra is a plumber and he left the house after preparing the meal. Locals said that the matter came to light when some employees of the Centre reached Pintoo’s house at around 10 am and found Pintoo hanging from the ceiling of his house. They  informed Pintoo’s father Wakil Yadav and local police about the incident. The father of the deceased alleged that his son had been murdered.

Beur police station SHO Devendra Pandey said that though the deceased’s father has apprehended that his son had been murdered, he has neither given any reason for that nor anybody’s name as suspect. The policed are waiting for the autopsy report, he added.
