Ara : A young man committed suicide by consuming poison at village Bihata under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district on October 31, 2020, late evening.
Police recovered the body and brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Mukesh Rajwar, 22, son of Subhash Rajwar of Bihata village. Family dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident.
Subhash Rajwar said that marriage of Mukesh Rajwar was settled at Dehari-on-Sone in Rohtas district but the marriage could not be solemnised in May 2020 due to COVID-19 and so the marriage date was shifted to May next year. He said that he went to his son on October 31, 2020, late evening, to wake him up for dinner but found him dead. He informed police about it on November 1, 2020, morning.
SHO, Imadpur police station, said that on getting information he reached the spot and brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. He further said that an FIR has been lodged by Imadpur police station in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
