Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,17,541 on November 1, 2020, afternoon, as 777 more persons including 274 from Patna, 38 from Muzaffarpur, 28 from Gaya, 28 from Saran, 25 from Jehanabad, tested positive to it on October 31, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 24 persons from Supaul, 22 from Samastipur, 20 from Lakhisarai, 19 from Nalanda, 18 from East Champaran, 17 from Nawada, 16 from Araria, and 15 from West Champaran, 14 from Saharsa, 14 from Sitamarhi, 13 from Madhubani, 13 from Munger, and 11 from Madhepura, akso tested positive to COVID-19 on October 31, 2020.
Of the 2,17,541 COVID-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date, altogether 2,09,006 patients have been declared cured including 1,195 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.08 %. The state has tested 1,10,66,634 samples so far including 1,43,611 samples on October 31, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 7,437 on November 1, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll increased to 1,097 in the state on November 1, 2020, with 7 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including one each from Nalanda, Gaya, Begusarai, Araria, Banka, Munger, and Muzaffarpur. The toll increased to 49 each in Gaya and Nalanda on November 1.
