Man arrested with 84 bottles of Royal Stag at Saharsa

Saharsa : Police on May 10, 2017, arrested a liquor dealer Mohammad Rabban of village  Majhoul under Nauhatta police station with 84 bottles of foreign liquor ( Royal Stag) near Chandni Chowk, Saharsa, when he was returning home on an autorickshaw after reaching Saharsa railway station.

Saharsa SDPO Subodh Kumar Biswas said that Rabban had brought liquor from Haryana and returned Saharsa by Janseva Express. SHO, Sadar police station, Bhai Bharat, was following Rabban from Saharsa station itself and seized the auto and arrested him near Chandni Chowk. Sources said that liquor dealers were stocking foreign liquor in view of the ensuing Saharsa Nagar Parishad polls allegedly on demand from several candidates.
