Sasaram: Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid in Maninagar area under Town police station, Dehri-on-Sone, in Rohtas district on October 18 evening and arrested a person with 76 quintal of stolen copper wire. Police conducted raid at the house of Khurshid Ansari at Maninagar and seized 76 quintal of copper wire worth about Rs 30,000 and arrested him in this connection. Police said that Khurshid Ansari confessed his crime and also revealed that he had stolen the wire from a closed Rohtas Udyog Samuh at Dalmianagar.
