Man arrested with 27 bottles of liquor

Ara: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid in Anaith locality under Nawada police station on Sunday and arrested Dheeraj Kumar, son of Arun Kumar Singh of Fatepatti under Udwantnagar police station ,and seized 27 bottles of liquor from his possession. Dheeraj was sent to jail.

Body found: Bhojpur police recovered a body hanging from a tree from Dharidiha village under Sikarhatta police station on Sunday and brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.SHO, Sikarhatta police station, said that he was informed that  body of a youth was hanging from a tree at Dahrudiha village under Sikarhatta police station. He immediately rushed to the spot and found the body hanging there. Later, deceased was identified as Gaya Kahar, 30, son of Kariya Kahar of Ayar village under Ayar police station.
