Ara: Bhojpur police arrested three persons from different places on Sunday in connection with petrol pump loot case. Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh said that some miscreants had looted Rs 35,000 from Om Sri Fuel Centre on NH 30 under Dhangai police station on June 17, 2016, and a case was lodged with Dhangai police station in this regard.
The SP had formed a police team under ASP (operations) Md Sazid that conducted raids in different areas and arrested Rajat Singh alias Raja Singh, son of Harendra Singh, and Rohit Singh, son of Surendra Singh of Garhatha village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district, and Bheem Singh, son of Surendra Singh of Sarna Bharauli village under Shahpur police station on Sunday and also recovered three mobiles from their possession. The SP said that Rajat Singh was the master mind behind the incident and all the miscreants are childhood friends. He said Rajat Singh was students in Allahabad University while Rohit Singh was selected for the CRPF and Bheem Singh dealt in cloth business at Shahpur. Neither of three have criminal background. The SP said that two miscreants were still at large in which one is the son of a Dafadar posted at Shahpur police station.
